YOUNGSTERS MOBILITY 2012 was a training and mobility programme, promoted by Transforma in partnership with MU-ZEE-UM, a Belgium organization whose mission is to stimulate in youngsters, children and adults, learning to allow them to develop their creative abilities.
This mobility was aimed at youngsters aged between 18 and 25 years old and its main goal is to encourage the participants to develop technological and artistic skills in an innovative and creative way.
Between the 3rd and 16th of july 2012, among other activities, participants had hold a workshop entitled “LOCAL NARRATIVES ON BITS”, oriented by Cláudia Pernencar and Bruno Nobre / IADE-Instituto de Artes Visuais, Design e Marketing, which invited the participants to design and produce a multimedia narrative, mainly focused in their own perspective and insight about local culture and its inhabitant´s daily habits.
The final work developed in “LOCAL NARRATIVES ON BITS” had resulted in a public presentation on the 12th of july at the Física Beach Hostel, Santa Cruz, Torres Vedras. The presentation was followed by an intercultural evening and an interactive session of music, encouraging all the participants to be a DJ for one evening.
